 Please explain what was so fucked up. Rockcrusher thought they were not going to make the next round. They got the issue fixed and made it to the lanes. Something about it fucked up the ladder because at 1st they did not think they was going to make it but they did.

Not really sure how someone not sure about making a round would fuck up a ladder. The opponent either gets a bi run or actually has to race I order to make it to the next round.

BTW, Paul had nothing to do with Rockcrusher last night, he was focused on his car. He was pissed because TRE included him in their little hissy fit.

 First off Paul had nothing to do with that. Rockcrusher was having problems all night. They were not pulling anything. They thought they found their problem, and had time to make the call so they did. There is no rule against doing that. Besides, they obviously didn't fix their car, and it obviously didn't hurt the 9er Crue. Furthermore, I don't know any racers with class that want to "go up side someones head"

 The info i gave was exactly what i was given. To many other people standing around that heard it. Just so that is crystal clear....My HEAD IS AVAILABLE ANY TIME YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT A TRY, ALWAYS AT THE TRACK. As far as rockcrusher crew, im sure there was no intention to pull any hoodoo crap. They were having issues, thought they had a bad convertor and ended up being a ignition/timing problem. Chad has already said that he should have have handled it differently and even went to appologize. This should clear it up.

 Chad told the Bad 9er that they had broken the converter and would NOT be there in the second round. The rest of the Rockcrusher crew said the same thing.

Billy saw an opportunity to try to see what the left lane would hold, so he tuned 'er up.

When the 'crusher came flying in just as the first pair fired up, Billy had to retune the 9er in about 8 seconds to make sure it would make it down.

The fact that they ALL said (I was told that even Paul said they were out) they were out and waited til the cars were all in the lanes and pulling out sure looks like some cheap bullshit trying to get Jason to lose by pulling a fast one. I throw the bullshit flag on this one and point the cheap shot finger at the Rockcrusher crew. What goes around comes around.

 Hey Joe have a question for u chassis guys. Dont beat me up over this have a 15x12 with a 4.5 back spacing and a 29x15.5 MT tire perfect fit from frame to fender. I am wanting to go with 15x10 wheels cant find a 12 in this paticular wheel same tire but the wheels are 3.75 back space.Trying to end up in the same place. I know there has to be a simple answer
[> Subject: beening the 15.5MT has a 12.5 tread width, the 10" wheel with suck the wall of the tire in maybe a 1/2 on each side.. you need 3/4" on the inside to clear the frame, so it might work with the 10" wheel like it is, depending on the clearence you already have on the frame to start with on the 12" wheel.... not recommended but you could use 1/4" spacers amybe a tade more... but still not recommended

 it will give you 3/4 of an inch more clearance on the inside frame rail and it will sit inside the fenderwell 1.25 inches more since it is only a 10 inch wide wheel.if you want it to look exactly the same as it looks now but with the 10" wheel you would need a 2.5 inch backspacing.hope this helps.

 Need Help!!!! I have a 355 SBC that I just got running. The motor drives fine in low RPM, but starts to bog down and pop some when I get on it, won’t pull. It seems like if a rocker is off, but if the car is in park, it won’t miss or pop, I can rev it as high as I want to and its crisp, no missing or bogging. I get on my Trans brake; it won’t even go higher than 3000 rpms when the Converter is a 4000, it starts to bog and some popping when I let go of the brake.  I have checked my rockers; re set them and still does that. It seems its only doing it when it’s under load.  Any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks, Ron

 a leaking need and seat with the float captured- fuel will leak out the sight glass but when you go full throttle the bowel will empty and the popping starts!

the only way to set the float level is remove the bowels turn 'em upside down and adjust the top of the float to the bottom of the top screw holes.

Before you ruin the bowel gaskets remove the jet from each bowel and wash it with some brake cleaner, install and now check float levels.

If the float is correct your needle and seat should be in the middle of the adjustment nut. Remove the locking screw and peer down and look at the needle and seat and see if one is at the bottom of the adjustment nut. If the needle and seat is at the bottom of the adjusting nut you have captured a float for sure.

 Is the engine grounded good? How about the ignition box ground? Check the wires from the distributor pick up to the ignition box ... might try switching the way they are wired to the ignition box.

Also i have run into this, a piece of debris has lodged in one of the primary or secondary jets.. also an easy check on the plug wires and plugs, use a timing light on each plug wire and watch for a steady blink as throttling the carb up

 Joe and urself were correct it had to do somthing with the carb. I raised the floats and it got much better. It work good while cool but after driving it a while it was bogging some in high gear. I started hearing the carb sucking lots of air, I also noticed that my fuel reg was set at 8lbs cold and after it go hot it droped to 5lbs in idel. Im in the right direction with all the great help from all u all. Im sure its the carb. Thanks a million guys!!!!!!!!

 I once built a mild 302 mustang with an MSD 6AL box. It idled perfect but under a load it would pop and backfire under full throttle and would not pull over 3000 rpms where it ran good before I put the MSD box on. I had the ground from the msd running to the cast iron cylinder head. After chasing several things down with no success I re- read the instructions that came with the box and desperate to try anything, ran the wires off the box directly to the battery post like the instructions said. WOW it ran perfectly! I didnt think there would be much difference between a good clean ground on the engine and the battery but the MSD did and just that simple fix worked. I hope this helps you.

 Joe and urself were correct it had to do somthing with the carb. I raised the floats and it got much better. It work good while cool but after driving it a while it was bogging some in high gear. I started hearing the carb sucking lots of air, I also noticed that my fuel reg was set at 8lbs cold and after it go hot it droped to 5lbs in idel. Im in the right direction with all the great help from all u all. Im sure its the carb. Thanks a million guys!!!!!!!!

 Thinking about helping a buddy of mine replace his clutch in an 01 6 speed ss. I've done plenty of clutches but not in a Camaro like this. So I asked a mechanic buddy of mine and he said to get to all the bellhousing bolts you have to lower the subframe to get them out because the motor is set so far back. Anyway I get on youtube and start browsing and see a couple of videos where they don't drop the subframe but instead use alot of extentions to get to the top two bell housing bolts. I'm pretty busy with work and if I do this I would like to get it done in a day. Also the car has long tube headers which sounds like something else thats going to be a pain. I've got a lift and the skills, but like I said I can't spend more than a day on it. Can you guys tell me what I'm in for if I do it. Thanks

 How do you set the idle on a enderle hat? I cant get to idle it down pass 2100rpms.I set the leakdown at 26% blades are at .006.And moving the barrel valve up are down donst help.
