i was at the track on sunday and i was hearing people saying that black and gold elcamino has nitrous on it. this one guy was saying it a all motor sbc and was arguing with another guy about it saying he purging it through the motor. i hope he do cause i bet a guy a 100 dollars it did its quiet and sound soft but it moves. joe i need a pic of that engine so i can get paid.

Don't worry about Jap with the El Camino. He is ALL motor and not on spray. He is still tuning on it and once he gets the bugs out you "won't" want to get in the other lane.

The understanding i have is they still have not found him. Have called off the search again today, will resume again in the morning. Fixing to get off work myself and gonna meet up with Clint (red tazz). he has a deer lease very close to last known location so were gonna go do some looking around.

Horses or four wheelers with serious off road ability needed. I know the area very well. We we searched for hours tonight. I will be at cannons tomorrow am. According to what i bave heard on where they ponged his phone last and what i heard he told his wife. It sounds like some where around the lonestar gas plant off of 686 and between the two huge resivoirs there. I used to ride my horse from there to huffman down a pipeline. Which would explain how he was able to move so fast.

Clint is that the one off 321?? My 4 wheeler is 4x4 with lift and winch. it isn't unstable but will run decent in mud. would it be best to go to command place off 321 or meet up with ya'll in morning? I should be in the area about 7-7:15

HIS TELEPHONE PING IS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BIG THICKET. MAYBE 10-15 MILES IN ANY DIRECTION TO THE NEAREST HIGHWAY.
I DON'T HAVE ANY WAY TO HELP, I WISH I DID.
IT HURTS TO HEAR THEY CALLED OFF THE SEARCH FOR NIGHT AND BAD WEATHER.
MAYBE SOME OF THE RESCUE CAMPED OVER NITE IN THE WOODS AND FIRE A GUN EVERY HOUR- GIVING DENIS A SENSE OF DIRECTION- MAYBE HE CAN WALK TOWARD THE SOUND.

Grady and i went out last night to try and find Dennis as well. The weather conditions are very bad and the terrain conditions are even worse. Seems in a patern that they have him last located would be easy to locate but after seeing the conditions i can understand why it is taking so long. Hoping he found shelter, the search continues this morning.

I was out there all day searching as well. It is very muddy and nasty. Some roads up to mile long with 6-10" deep ruts. Hoping to be able to make it out there tomm. They have a certain area they are concentrating on looking at..

Those posts have been removed from the TRE page. And I don't think they stated the times for Birdman or Treeman just that one was flying for the heavy weight and Treeman would be able to make E.T. He was looking for in the future! Just sayin, people assume what they want about these cars anyways.

Aint nobody got a better motor than nrc in the adrl. Jeff will be running 3.50's this year while them other fools will be stuck in the 3.70's. if you wanna win you will have to buy your motors from jeff. Buy the end of the season everyone will be running nrc motors!

I would say to have it rebuilt by a known good builder. If you buy another one it might be junk and you really don't know until you install it. Here is a good transmission man to call - (409) 935-7762. He just did a turbo 350 for me and it works fantastic. He knows his stuff, give him a call and ask him.

you cant build a nice BBC street motor for what hillbilly is asking for that motor. by the time you spend 3k on a good iron block another 2-3k on rotating assembly 3k on cheap heads and intake. Oil pump, bearings, rings, oil pan, gaskets etc.. shit 9500 is a steal.

It is best to use a mic a mic, but you can use dial calipers and you will get real close to lift.
Mic the tallest part of the lobe, and mic the smallest part of the lobe. Subtract the small reading from the larger reading- and multiply that number by your rocker arm ratio. You will be surprised how close you can come to actual lift!!

Just learned someting about cleaning Lexan I want to pass on. Everyone knows this stuff gets ugly and discolored really easy. Same on cars and airplanes. I just bought a 1973 Cessna last month that is pretty much mint condition with origional paint, windows and interior. Usual windows are replaced somewhere down the road because they get funky. The windows in this airplane are 40 years old and look like brand new, crystal clear. I aske the guy I bought it from how in the hell they look so good? He cleaned them the whole life with pledge furnature polish believe it or not. He said it keeps the plastic moist. So I got a can of lemon pledge the other day and it is amazing! Takes off bugs, dust, oil, or whatever. Does not leave an oily film like I thought it would. Just something for you guys to try.... I actually used Pledge to clean the paint on my Pitts but never thought about using it on windows.

we will be there and run just like we said. we didnt say we could outrun them all but we will race and you can take that to the bank. plus i already told horace lets rock. you will see this year we are gonna try and get some action going win or lose its gonna be fun. we might not be the fastest but you can bet your ass we wont be the slowest and we wont be hiding back at the nest. ps. why dont you bring your hotrod out big guy.

The motor is not a 460+ Ci. The car is 3200 lbs.A Sheetmetal intake & two carb is about 50 hp more your car is about 2700 lbs thats about 5teens you do the math!You called us It's not going to be a give me race.So Joe put Mr.Crawlfish Glassman pic on here.
