Don’t know about these people and their affiliation but I have been to plenty of majors where people do hair and makeup privately. I get what you are saying but you can’t control people paying for these services privately especially when it’s not offered on the floor. Not to mention censors NEVER have enough artists to cover the demand -- New England Irish Dancers

We have been affiliated with a vendor, a very well known vendor at that. I didn’t bring them into it because this service isn’t what their known for, instead it’s their vendor table full of dance items, socks and wigs. We were never allowed into the venues at early hours because the doors were locked so we had to make do, and do hair & make up appointments else where. We have been doing hair and make up for the past 2 years at the NERO, and I personally have done hair at the MARO since 2014. I have been booked by national champions, regional champions, team groups and world qualifiers. I’m sorry this upsets you that I didn’t state I was affiliated with a vendor, but I am :) Hope this clears that up!

about and stop being unkind. FWIW - there are also NEVER enough staff at the "official vendors" even when they do offer services which is few and far between and often contingent on the purchase of a wig that day...
