He stayed right in front of her as he led the way into the apartment, smiling at first the dogs and then up at Remy. "Hey...Shay laying down?" Remy had been mad protective of her which was understandable considering she was recovering from nearly dying and was carrying his child on top of that. Leaning down, he swept Chase into his arms, carrying him into the living room and nodding for Gia to sit down. He didn't want to not include her in the conversation but he didn't want to pressure her into talking if she didn't want to either. A low breath escaped his lips as he pressed a kiss to Chase's forhead and then looked down. "How the dogs working out for you? We decided to keep these two for good, Bambi likes having them around and every kid needs a dog..." He smirked a little, the puppies were getting a little rambunctious, play fighting and barking and all that sort of thing that puppies do. His eyes drifted protectively, near possessively, over Gia before he looked back to Remy again, his eyes telling his friend to keep it cool for him. Casually, one hand shifted to rest on Gia's leg, reassuring her even as he held Chase. A smile crossed his lips as the toddler leaned over, patting Gia's belly as he so often did to Haylie's. "Baby in there too. Lots of babies. 'cept me. Big boy." Skeeter laughed, nodding a little. "Yep, that's right, you're a big boy with big dogs." He smirked, looking over at Gia to share a smile with her.
