Subject: high school movie update


Many of you were very sweet to vote for the high school movie of a friend of mine's daughter.

here's the email she just sent me:

Thank you so much for taking the time to vote for Kassidy's movie as she never would have made it to the finals without your support. Her movie was chosen as one of the top three movies in the high school category. As a result she gets to attend the Dallas International Film Festival and "walk the red carpet" and be presented as one of the high school finalists. At the awards evening she will find out if she came in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. (If she gets 3rd place her school will receive $2,500, if she gets 2nd place her school will receive $5,000, and if she gets 1st place her school with get $7,500 - so her school will receive at least $2,500 which is very, very exciting.)
