Subject: I haven't been following it much, but I do think they are an adorable couple. They seem to be *friends* as well as "in love", so that will hold them in good stead. Charles & Di were never "friends", and their marriage was "coordinated" (if not "arranged"). I hope they have good counselors who are not beholden to royal politics, and share a strong religious faith. Those two things will carry them far.

I love that he gave Kate, Diana's engagement ring, so his mother wouldnt be forgotten, that she would have her part in their engagement and marriage. I think it speaks well of Prince William that he honors both his mother and his father, in spite of all the bitterness that came before during and after their divorce.
