Subject: wine stains - when you spill wine on the dining room table - which someone alwys does during the holidays - sprinkle penty of salt on the spot - enough to cover -leave it there during the dinner. do not shake it out - toss in laundry as usual and stain is gone- voila. : )

Small a task as that is, it at least gets something started. I can come back by later and take care of five more things, and eventually, it makes a visible difference. I find that the bigger the job, the harder it is to get started on it. It's a lot harder to tell myself I don't have time now, if it's only five things.
