Subject: I swore off diets in 2005 when I joined Weight Watchers. It isn't a diet. It's all about portion control and setting up new habits. I lost 42 lbs. I go to weigh-ins every week, because the meeting are fun, and great support. Plus, I can keep track on creeping lbs. It's been 7 yrs since I got to my goal, and I have kept the weight OFF!!! Yay me. That beats all the odds with any diet plan, which are always too difficult to maintan for the rest of your life. On WW, I can eat anything I want.....just not the whole table.

[> Summer was a bummer -- two surgeries in 2-1/2 mos: gall bladder removed then hernia repair in the same spot --it failed, now have to carry this thing that looks like a basketball under my shirt for at least 6 more months. inside for the fun stuff -- carramor, 10:38:13 11/19/13 Tue [1]

Took a four-day motor coach trip down to Biltmore Mansion/
Castle to see Christmas decorations -- well worth the trip. Also, the group went on to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg for delightful lights, food, Dollywood, shopping, and some more shopping -- finished up my Christmas gifts! Highly recommend the bus tour thing -- didn't have to drive -- 7 hrs. each way -- didn't have to make reservations for any of the activities, nor stand in line to buy the tickets; didn't have to haul my 'treasures' from place to place; and, didn't have to read the first map!
