Subject: Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade


I'm sure many of you watch the parade, but I gotta brag on one of my kids: My oldest is marching in the parade with the James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes! They will be the FIRST band AND the First ACT. They will be in front - right behind the turkey, and perform first at Herald Square!

So TUNE IN to NBC at 9am Eastern for the Parade kick-off and 10am Eastern for the Herald Square performance. In the meantime, here's a taste of the music you'll be hearing from the LARGEST collegiate marching band in the nation!!

This is the "football intro" they use before the band comes out at every game (pre game and half time). At the 0:49 mark you'll see a close-up of a tuba player shaking his "#1" at the camera - that's my son :-D
