Subject: Is anyone not freezing? LOL

we have had two winter weeks so far this season - this last one has given us five days of at or below 32 degrees - We lost a full grown multi trunk Oak the first night- Because the leaves had fallen off yet the tree couldn't handle the weight of the ice on the leaves and the thing upended from the roots -

yesterday every football game on TV was playing in snow

I thought we were supposed to be facing global warming?

[> Am so tired of this weather already -- official winter to begin this weekend I think. irginia doesn't usually get ice/snow/sleet this early. Guess we're in for a long, cold winter -- berries on bushes are really thick (a 'pearl of widsdom' according to the Almanac). -- carramor, 18:34:02 12/09/13 Mon [1]

[> Freezing? It was 83 yesterday here in Jacksonville, FL! I've been doing most of my decorating while wearing shorts. Think it's supposed to cool off to a nice 64 tomorrow. -- JJ Ronda, 03:21:11 12/10/13 Tue [1]

[> Well, it's freezing in the North country of NYS and the winds have been adding to the low temps. There's some small amounts of snow on the ground and yesterday I heard the coldest temperature ever read in Antactica was recorded SO where is the global warming because it sure isn't at my house. -- jenks, 08:13:51 12/11/13 Wed [1]
