Subject: Tough Question. I started going to Viewings and Funerals when I was 8 yrs. old. But, my 3 brothers and I were raised very strictly. Catholic school, the whole bit. I never had a problem with it nor did 2 of my brothers. My oldest brother had a very hard time with it and to this day advoids them at all cost and has raised his children the same way. I don't think that is healthy either. I guess it would depend on the child, but I don't think a child needs to be exposed to a funeral or a viewing before 10. IMHO!
