Subject: Aiden Michael's home!!

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts for the past week. Aiden is finally home with his mom, dad and big sister Emma (who's glad she can finally 'touch' her brother). Just one more request, a short well wish for Aiden's mom (my daughter) I know now that she's got him home she's thinking "now what?" it's been seven long years since she had a baby in the house!

Can't wait to get my hands on him!

[> Oh I'm sure you're d-i-l will be just fine! having a baby around is a lot like riding a bike- you never forget- lol. I know you hand me a baby and I start rocking - old habits die hard!! heck - sometimes you hand me a grocery bag and if it's on my hip and I'm standing still I start rocking!! [> Glad to hear this! What do you mean his sister couldn't touch him? Didn't the hospitals have sibling visitation? We let all siblings come in for visits, just do a health screening on them first. It's important for the other kids to see & touch their baby, so they know he/she is okay! -- doc, 07:53:00 07/01/12 Sun [1]

[> [> Local hospital didn't allow siblings in the nursary, Aiden wasn't allowed in the room with Mom so Emma missed out. Then when transfered, Childrens Hopsital allows siblings only on the weekends and he arrived on Monday. Now that he's home she's holding him, helping feed him, singing to him and keeping him entertained with a hand puppet! -- usmgrad, all is right with my little piece of the world, thank God., 17:07:35 07/01/12 Sun [1]

[> Great news! Cuddling, kissing, changing, feeding, and just loving Aiden is a wonderful start and, that, will keep all busy enough -- too busy to even 'think' too much about what to do! LOL! So happy he's ok! -- mj, 08:47:42 07/01/12 Sun [1]
