Good to know London is smoothly pulling off such a memorable Games and that the atmosphere is so great. You watched beach volleyball! Watching that event on TV has been one of the highlights of the Olympics for me - it just looks like so much fun, and I've been so envious of the spectators watching all the action in person. London is such an amazing city - I lived there for a while, so every time I'm there it feels like home - the spirit of the city and the way people come together when they need to is incredible.

I literally skip with excitement and joy when I'm walking down the Mall or around Westminster. My niece used to live in my fave area of Chelsea, not far from Sloan Square.
