Subject: Hello all yall! Seems like I've been off the board for a yr instead of two mos. Thanks again for all the good thoughts/prayers for my journey --move was interesting! My very kind neighbor helped in getting U-Haul packed out -- I dragged boxes and stuff to the garage door and he 'packed' the trailer! So, this 65+ gray-haired harmy and the packed van took to the road. Other driver's were quite polite -- guess I must have looked pretty pittiful. There was quite a bit of road construction and repairs and traffic was not fun. The normal 2 hr trip took almost 4.5 hrs. -- Inside.

Here I go getting wordy. Arrived at my temporary home around 10:30 pm absoutely wipped out. Ran into real life with its twists and turns in the next several weeks. Took longer to find an apartment than I had planned, but I'm in a 2 bdrm with what seems to be about 750 boxes! Accused the mover of stopping along the way and picking up other peoples' stuff. Was beginning to think it would be necessary to add on another room, LOL! Had to wait a week for phone, cable and internet -- and now, here I am, trying to catch up with the rest of world....think it's gonna take some time!
