Subject: Favorite Holiday Desserts

This question goes along with a discussion on the HB. What is your favorite holiday dessert?

Is it something you make or something made for you? A tradition you have every year, something you recently discovered, or something that is a fond remembrance from your youth?

Everyone, please post!

Also, my aunt makes something like 20 different kinds of German Christmas cookies and mails them to us...so delicious! -- Pretz--sweets in Germany are not as sweet as those in the US. [> There was always a package of pfeffernuesse cookies at Christmas (store bought). Not hard and crunchy, but stiff and chewy gingerbread cookies with thick powdered sugar. Mmmm..... Loved those things! I've tried to find them now but it's not easy. I think Archway makes them. -- The Chief, 23:00:30 12/23/11 Fri [1]
