Subject: Christmas should not start before Thanksgiving is over. It use to start with the Thanksgiving Macy day parade went Santa arrived at the end in his sleigh. I think all the commercialism has taken the real meaning out of Christmas. The togetherness of family and the birth of our Savior. Now it's all commercials on TV, Radio, shopping and gifts. I've come to hate it. Last year I didn't even put up a tree or a decoration and I may not this year either. I'll attend Mass and celebrate there.

[> [> I hate that you have maybe 2 days, 3 days tops, to get Halloween candy on sale afterward - it's like they don't WANT to sell it half price! Don't know what they do with all that extra candy in the special Halloween wrappers.... -- The Chief, 22:36:44 11/13/11 Sun [1]
