your internet browser should have an option to 'block' pop ups. With Internet Explorer and Firefox it's under TOOLS, Select 'block pop ups'. However keep in mind this will block ALL pop ups on ALL web sites. When you encounter a blocked pop up there will be a message at the top of the web site telling you. If you click on the message you have the option of temporarily allowing the pop up or allowing pop ups for that web site only all the time.
