The Tea Party is a minority faction within the Republican Party. Therefore, the shutdown cannot exclusively be blamed on The Tea Party. The fact of the matter is that The Tea Party has far less influence on the Republican Party than the radical left (loons) has on the socialist democratic party as our supposed weak "leader" has a kindred spirit with the radical left. Accordingly, the radical left has more influence as to the way our country is being run at this time. The Tea Party is trying to save our wonderful United States of America. My opinion.
