Oh- there is another reason they made that arrest- it was because it made for a big media splash for Negangard who wasn't sure he had no competition at the time.
Talk about an embarrassment for the county to have this from a "professional." Just listen to the National Enquirer-type sound bite he ends the TV coverage with. The transcript of it says:
"Hess has no criminal history, but Negangard found out that she was not well-liked by the other residents."
I would have loved to hear how he got that intel. Interviews with the residents? Family of residents? Hearsay?
What fancy detective work form out SPECIAL crimes unit?!
Just how sloppy was this investigation?
