Is this the Twilight Zone? Check out the unethical actions of a different mental health professional involved in my custody case. Before the Dan Brewington detractors start going crazy, please note that I do not disagree with the opinion of this psychiatrist in his one page letter/evaluation. I do not agree with his opinion either. In fact, he offers no opinion. $3,692 for a 237 word letter to the judge and it was addressed to......wait for it........Judge James D. Humphrey, who hasn't presided over my custody case for nearly 4 years. And he told the judge to just call him if the judge had any questions. That's ethical. BTW, this psychiatrist claimed to have "performed a psychiatric evaluation which has included an extensive review of the court records of the trial in October, 2011." If he would have reviewed any records, he would have known Humphrey was no longer the judge. Bet Prosecutor Negangard won't report this conduct. It's a good thing Negangard and Humphrey do not have jurisdiction over this situation because they would be sending squad cars to the home of the psychiatrist to start building a case that I present a threat to someone.
