Any decent human being would have done the same thing...cop or not. There are probably some good cops here but there are some who, in my opinion, do not deserve to be in the position bc of their bad behavior, repeatedly. If they were decent and good then I would agree that they should make much more money than they do. I asked someone who repeatedly drank alcohol and drove (with their kids in the car) what they would do if they were pulled over and two of the responses I received was that they would call their friend who is a local cop and they said she would take care of them. That's just one example. A boy whose stepfather is the chief or assistant chief at a local police station was at a friend's house a few years ago. The boy was underage but he said that he was going home bc his stepdad said he would buy some beer and let him drink that night. So much for your good cops.
