Now there are people on here asking "what happened to the law" and accusing all who were arrested of being illegal immigrants. Remember that we all are innocent until proven guilty. It's so strange that in 2013, overt racism rears its ugly head in such a telling way. Put yourselves in others shoes. What would you say if your teenaged daughter was just trying to earn money for college by waiting tables and was randomly arrested and booked into the county jail because the owners of the restaurant were allegedly not paying enough in taxes!? There would be outrage throughout the community! But because some people have a different skin tone than most in the area, they must be "illegal immigrants". It really shouldn't surprise me since we have done they same thing to many different ethnic/religious groups from around the world throughout our history. People are free to be racists but government is not. Dearborn County law enforcement has no respect for individual rights. This is government intrusion into the lives of our citizenry at its worst. Ignorance? Racism? Fear?... Take your pick. I'm going with all of the above.
