If so, we need you to take action now! Senator Gard has introduced SB 210 that, if passed, will eliminate the authority of the solid waste districts to impose property tax. Without an operating landfill, Dearborn County is dependent on property tax for its existence. If you do NOT want to see the Recycling Center close its doors, CALL or EMAIL your representative today, as the first hearing of SB 210 is tomorrow at 8 am. Let him know that you oppose SB 210 and why!
