(She had only been attending high school back home since Keegan's death because she knew that would have been what he would want her to do.. her education had always been something her brother had fostered. She looked down at her soda can again, grief making her heart heavy even as she grappled with the emotions that Braden's caring words and actions were illiciting inside her. She would never again stay up all night watching movies with Keegan, hearing him laugh.. or wrassling with him when he scared her during a quiet part of the movie.. god, she wanted him back. With a sigh, she steeled herself and raised her head, she wouldn't be labeled a weak person, that was for sure.) I want to major in law enforcement. (She said softly, although her eyes shone with resolve, showing that she was desperately fighting to hide her upset, to show a brave face before him. Suddenly it meant a lot to her that he see her as a strong woman and not a little girl who cried herself to sleep every night and hid in the closet when people came to the door.) I'd rather not think too much about school right now, if I don't have to. There are a few more weeks left before I have to worry about it, and I don't like to damn summer before the end is nigh, if you know what I mean.
