Author: Dani R (hoping David finds a great vehicle for his talent soon.)
Subject: It was also my understanding that DB was very angry that DJE was so important to the show especially following Season 8 negotiations (if I recall correctly CBS president threatened no DJE no JAG and trouble for NCIS, too). I understand that DB felt that his authority was more important than anything or anyone.
In reply to: JAG Junkie (Ronda) 's message, "Yeah, all the reports I heard said that DJE's agent requested a meeting to open up season 11 contract negotiations, and he was ignored. TPTB seem to prefer people to find out about things indirectly. That's how DJE's wife found out that her character was being killed off (and, by extension that she was out of a job). They found out when they read the script." on 08:01:24 03/11/10 Thu
