I was talking to my mom last night and she said she saw DJE doing an infomercial-type thing yesterday morning but she couldn't remember for what. They live out in the country so their upstairs TV only gets 2 channels - every sat and sun mornings that's all they run. I know that 2 of the ones I always see are Plan Canada (Foster Parents Plan) and Amnesty International. At first she said she thought it was AI (which is possible b/c the last AI ad I saw had pretty much the whole cast of Street Legal in it), but then she started talking about starving kids in Africa, which makes me think it might have been for PC. Anyone see this? My mom said it looked recent - and she may be elderly, but she knows her DJE so I'm pretty sure she wasn't mistaken LOL.

- He did do an infomercial that had something to do with starving kids. There were a bunch of stars in the informercial, but I can't remember what organization it was. - Hi Gibson, yes your dear mom sure does know her DJE. This was shown on CTV & ASN Saturday & Sunday morning & in the afternoon and it was for Plan Canada. This was also shown on Sunday, March 16, 2008, same stations. Rod Black is the host. DJE was one of the celebrity supporters. This was filmed in 2007 and it has also been shown with the Help Plan USA last Aug 2007. Once again, Street Legal has rolled around to Season three and today was our sooooo young Nick Delgado arresting Carrie for shop lifting. Only 27 years old and already TOOO Gorgeous! THUD!

- I can't for the life of me remember why I got to see a couple of episodes of Street Legal - but it was very interesting. Odd seeing a young Harm who isn't Harm. LOL. - I really liked the episode I saw of Fly by Night - I could so picture this as a young Harm- out of the Navy but still flying and the character who worked with him was sort of like a Keeter type. - I watched it for the first time last, and have to say it was pretty weak. I liked DJE and the kid who played his son – they did the best they could with a weak script. The rest of the characters weren’t very strong. My only thought by the end was: why did they keep standing over the open trap door? Never mind, the pressure shifts should’ve sucked them all out of the plane! Why would you stand over an open door & stare at the water rushing by? Harm would know better!!! - I had seen it before, when it first aired, but I wasn't going to miss seeing him. True, the writing was a little weak (although David did pretty well with what he had to work with) and the wife (Terry Farrell) annoyed the heck out of me, but with a better script I could see David playing this character again. - I remember next to nothing about this movie - which is sad. Not a single scene stands out in my mind as - oh that was great, or funny or whatever. I didn't care much for AirForce One - but I remember the scene when HF is on the phone with the White house operator - I wish DJE's movie had a few scenes like that. - my problem is I like happier endings - and I don't think HAE feels that way. lol- I would have liked him and his wife to stay together, work it out- live happily ever after. Just like in the Terry Evanshon movie - I hated that he left his wife (which didn't happen in real life) and I hated that they didn't bring them back together for certain before the end of the movie... I like the fairytale quality to all my entertainment LOL- That's one of the reasons I've never watched Gone with the Wind and think it's perfectly normal for Fred Astaire to dance with a coat rack!! lol. - Jimmy lived with ghosts from his past causing his wife to divorce him. But he found himself while on a fishing trip with his daughter Maggie This was very emotional especially the letter he wrote to Maggie saying "Jump Maggie jump i finally did" then the tears came.Kleenex at the ready. - I think DJE is fantastic as a romantic lead who does lots of angst and heartache very well(even though who in their right mind would give him angst and heartache to bear LOL). - I love Dodson's Journey! It's my favorite DJE role, besides Harm. I liked that Jimmy was softer and vulnerable. It was a different role for DJE to play. I could listen to him quote poetry all day; I guess that goes back to his Shakespeare roots. And even though Jimmy & his wife didn't get back together, the movie was more about Jimmy dealing with his ghosts and helping his daughter survive the divorce. - I just finished watching Dodson's Journey again. I had forgotten just how powerful a performance DJE gave in light of his personal crisis at the time. Hey guys! I feel I should take a moment to redirect our photo-posting guidelines after discussion about the photo in the thread below showing DJE and his family out for a walk.

Some feel that this particular photo crosses the line into "discussion of DJE's personal life and family", which we are not going to do - discuss DJE's personal life and family.

Therefore, I am going to ask that if you have a photo that you would like to post on the board, please E-Mail me first. Your common sense should be your guide in most cases, but if the photo is similar to the one below - an unguarded moment where cameras are not expected - then it will need to be reviewed.

I'm leaving the photo because I want to contrast it with the one of DJE and his son in the posed, professional photo below that one. If that posed photo was done for a magazine (and I believe it was), then it is CERTAINLY public domain., even if it includes Wyatt. It's the "paparazzi" photos that will need to be reviewed.

I do not want to be too strict, since DJE is VERY "close to Harm", and that's what this board is all about. But I do not want us to lower our standards either.

- I have to agree with chris k about all of this. There is a DJE site and an excellent one at that. DJE's personal life is just that. It's nice to see him with his family, but based on certain pictures, people assume too many things about him. We do not know this man personally. It's fun to drool, as chris said, but trying to "unlock" his personal life here is not right in MVHO. We want to be able to see new characters he may play and watch him develop them. - After a bit of thought, and reading your comments, I've decided to leave the photo. The posters here are of mature, thoughtful and sensitive stock, and no one seems to be wildly proclaiming about it one way or the other. As to whether it was taken and posted without permission, it is no different than the photos snapped by fans at Marathons, etc, and posted here.
