  • i luv the scene from Close To Home (can't remember off hand the characters names now, forgive me) when they r in a conference room discussing how to procede on a case and the big guy detective disagrees w/DJE's character and DJE walks halfway around the table and confronts him about it, I thought they were both gonna punch each other out.             • I don't think so. Dan Frisch, who wrote and produced this film, sends everyone who buys a DVD a very nice email. He explains the story behind the film and also that he is only selling the DVD through the website, so that he can use the proceeds to donate to good causes, mostly children related.       • That was "Cabin Pressure", where he's trapped in the brig when the ship hits something and water starts pouring in. They spent a week filming in the water (prior to Christmas), and DJE caught pneumonia.   "Truth Be Told" stars Candace Cameron Bure and David James Elliott
  
  New Mexico is going to be the setting for another made-for-TV movie.
  
  Fox Broadcasting Company announced it is shooting "Truth Be Told" in New Mexico. The movie stars Candace Cameron Bure and David James Elliott.
  
  Cameron Bure is known for playing D.J. Tanner in "Full House." Elliott is best known as Commander Harmon 'Harm' Rabb Jr. in "JAG" and last appeared as Wolfgang "Wolf" West in "Scoundrels," which also was filmed in New Mexico.
  
  The crew has begun filming in locations in Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Santa Clara Pueblo and Albuquerque. Filming will conclude on Jan. 28.
  
  "The production team is expected to hire approximately 150 New Mexicans for the cast and crew," said Angela Heisel, spokeswoman for the state's Economic Development Department said.
  
  The plot focuses on marriage counselor, Annie Morgan, played by Cameron Bure, who believes honesty and love are the keys to successful long-term relationships.
  
  Ironically, Annie has never been married and doesn't always follow her own advice.
  
  When an opportunity arises to discuss hosting a talk show with media mogul Alexander Bishop, played by Ronnie Cox, Annie jumps at the chance.
  
  Through a misunderstanding, she receives an invitation for she and her spouse to join Bishop at his New Mexico ranch. Fearful that being single will wreck her big chance, Annie conspires with Mark Crane, played by Elliott, an old college friend who is a retired professional football player and recent widower, to pose as a married couple with their teenage kids for the weekend.
  
  A weekend filled with a series of comical misunderstandings leaves Annie emotionally involved with Mark and his two teenagers and battling with her own conscience.
  
  The script for "Truth Be Told" is written by Alan Marc Levy and directed by Jonathan Frakes, who directed "NCIS: Los Angeles."

  Production Starts for David James Elliott on ‘Truth Be Told’
  January 11th, 2011 RMG client DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT has just started production on the TV movie, TRUTH BE TOLD for FBC. The project, which is being independently financed by Proctor & Gamble and Walmart, is a family friendly character piece directed by Jonathan Frakes. David is starring in the lead role of Mark Crane.
  
  Elliott most recently starred opposite Virgina Madsen in the ABC summer series, Scoundrels, and guest starred on last week’s episode of CSI: NY, playing the ex-husband to Sela Ward’s character.

  • This episode (or DJE's part in it) by itself was pretty much nothing, so it seems as if they may be planning more. So far, I'm not enthralled by the character, because he came across as a bit slick, but it wasn't anything terrible, and a little more information on the character could make him much more appealing.   ADAM: Well, that kind of depends on you, Maria. Executive producer Pam Veasey insists that she isn't writing that into the show, but that sometimes the audience perceives sparks. Specifically, Veasey thinks the January episode that introduces Jo's ex husband (David James Elliot) is going to create some waves. "There's a little hint of him wanting [Jo] back," she says. "It's a relationship of his pursuit, and she's not completely resistant to it. I can't wait for it to air because I want to know if the audience wants him to be around or go, 'No! We want her to be with Mac.' I think the audience will definitely think there's a triangle in motion."
