  For all of you Texas Tarts, or those interested in taking a road trip to Dallas, here's the filming information for GCB as posted on the Dallas Film Commission website.
  
  An "extras" casting call has been announced for all ages (wonder if they will take boa-covered ladies?). The pilot will begin filming on March 19th and continue until the first week of April. No exact location is given, just "Dallas area". They also have crew positions available.

  • His name makes me think that the show is meant to be a caricature of some sort -- tongue-in-cheek. Maybe something, 'good Christrians' might find humourously humbling. IMO, it still is a tad offensive for major network tv aimed at 'appealing' to large audiences. Nowadays many people may not be up for this 'humor' or may not 'get it'. There's too much religious tension in the world today not to mention horific tragedies occuring whereby our spirituality has become something very close and real -- not something to make fun about.   Since we had fun with the last one, I thought I'd try to make this a semi-regular post (i.e. whenever I think of something clever to ask! LOL).

  What has been DJE's best role, other than Harm? What role do you think has showcased his considerable talents the best? And why?
  
  It could be dramatic, comic, or something else.
  
  This is a hard one for me because I haven't seen as many of DJE's pre- or post-JAG work as some of the rest of you. So I'm going to go back to Christopher Paget in "Degree of Guilt" because he shows such a range of emotion and does it so well, plus, he gets to look hot in expensive suits, and flex his chops in the courtroom (where he excels as an actor).

  • I thought David was really good in Dodson's Journey. he gave a poignant, yet subtle performance and I truly thought this movie would be a stepping stone to him venturing into meaty, dramatic movie (big screen) roles.   LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Truth Be Told," an original movie starring Candace Cameron Bure, David James Elliott and Ronny Cox, will premiere Saturday, April 16 on FOX, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.
  
  The project revolves around Annie Morgan (Bure), a marriage counselor who - fearing her single status will ruin her chance at a dream job hosting a radio advice program - conspires with an old college friend (Elliott), a recent widower with two teenagers, to pass as a married couple after her potential boss (Cox) invites them to spend the weekend at his New Mexico ranch.
