      - Lost 20% of the Home Makeover audience & finished almost dead last in the demo group & ratings, only some FOX show did worse. Scoundrels is tanking bigtime, & someone on the DJE board suggested a move to another night. To me that's a good idea, just wonder how long ABC is gonna stick with Scoundrels since its not doing well at all.   - I would think with summer shows that they're adjusting for ratings. They're probably going to look at how the numbers plot across a graph, not the actual numbers, and see if they go up/down/hold steady and make the decision based on that . - Well, I was surprised to find out Wolf was the mastermind, but considering his tiff with Cheryl, I suppose it's not that much of a shock. As for the acting, once again, David was the best thing they've got going for them. As for the rest of the show, I'm afraid the jury's still out on this one.   - Okay, just finished watching both online so I have thoughts now. I like DJE as Wolf, altho I thought they could have made him look.... tougher somehow. Longer hair, menacing gaze... something. I like the convoluted stories and scams the kids are all running, and I feel Cheryl's frustration at trying to spin all those plates! But the show seems to lack something..... cool camera angles or funky editing or a certain "tint" to the camera work (like CSI: Miami always looks golden and "sizzly"). - I still haven't decided if I like this one enough to keep watching. There were some funny moments, but some others were too much of a farce. VM is OK, and believable, but I don't see much in the way of sparks with DJE. Also, he looks too young to have that many grown children, even though of course he could in actual age. - The jury is still out on this show IMO anyway. This episode was too DJE light for me but overall it was okay. I kind of liked how Wolf was the one behind the TP heist. - Thought it was a little slow at first and picked up speed towards the end after the friend had been next door. Shocker was what really happened in the house. - This is the worst out of the weekend viewing IMHO. It was slow moving and I wasn't a fan of the actress playing the lead, and DJE's role in the movie wasn't a prominent one, such as in Dad's Home, so it was hard for me to watch the entire movie just waiting to see the DJE parts. - Wolf West is cute, but he ain't no Harm! Sorry, but I'm finding it hard to get excited about a family of criminals. I expect that perfect mouth to start spewing things about "truth", "honor", and "justice". The wife reminds me of a blonde Peg Bundy and the kids are losers. I liked the smart daughter and that was about it. DJE's shirtless scene was um, inspirational, but I am struggling to be interested in watching again, let alone becoming addicted to the show. - I'm actually relieved that others have expressed concerns about this show. I thought maybe it was just me and that I was missing something. I wanted to like this show, but I couldn't. Bad writing, bad humor. Characters who do not inspire me to care what happens to them. Why would viewers want the Wests to turn into upstanding citizens? - I'll reserve a final opinion on this show, but I'm not jumping for joy. I'm so used to heroic Harm-type characters that I find it hard to see DJE's character as a criminal. - I only watched because DJE was in it and he is good as Wolf. Wolf being in jail makes me wonder if we will see very little of him like it was only a few minutes a week on CTH. Although every article where Virginia Madsen is mentioned they also mention that she had an Academy Award nomination for some movie but I don't think she has what it takes to carry the show. - To be honest I dont see how great an actress Madsen is. DJE is superior than her(I know I may be biased,lol).   - I feel I must clarify after reading other comments. I can don't want to take up a lot of space, but I am willing and able to let DJE move on to other roles, and I like Wolf so far. It's just if I were asked, I couldn't say that Wolf is my favorite character he's portrayed, who knows, at the end of the 8 weeks, it may be Wolf, or Wolf may be second choice, but I'm watching and I don't "see " Harm when DJE is on screen. - I have to disagree with a lot of you. I liked the show. It's different and while I don't normally root for criminals, this isn't supposed to be taken seriously. It's off beat, kind of like me. LOL I like that she's going to try and get her crazy family to go straight. it's different. It's the first thing that DJE has been in that I really wanted to watch. He has a good sense of comic timing. I've read several reviews and all but one were good. And it came in second last night in its time slot which isn't bad. - Wow! I'm surprised that so many people here didn't like it. I loved VM's strong role, and could really feel her frustration. I totally think she can carry it. I also liked the oddball kids, and the humour. BTW, I was not interested in watching "funny" murderers in Sopranos, but this is more like the gang who couldn't shoot straight. I thought that it was a cute movie, and David did his usual superb job, but it seemed to be another run-of-the-mill, feel-good Hallmark offering, so I doubt that it will be considered award worthy.

Ok, since JAG is finished I usually rarely watch TV, and on top of that sometimes like this week, I don't have bought a TV programm, it's how I finish sometimes to decide to watch TV, and it's at this precise moment that I finish face to face with DJE or CB in own of their show.
So the other time I falled on CB's SSV, and today on DJE's Dad's Home, whitch, I couldn't enterly watch, due my father he did the same while I was watching SSV.

Ah, well, you've well read I watched " Dad's home " ( french title : Le Coeur de la famille ) if you translate correctly the english title it's " La maison de papa "

And if I'm correct, you haven't seen it yet in the USA...

I seriously have to considering to sail a mail to the main TV guide in my country to put the titles of the programms coming from abroad in their original mother - tongue.

Thank God, Cam, another poster of the unofficial CB forum has send a message telling that CB's TGW will be on french tv the next 23 june. Thank God on a channel I've.
TGWG has been the first of the series broadcasted on french TV but on a channel that I don't have.

We had a rainy Memorial Day, and I read this book in its entirety over the course of 48 hours. It is entitiled "The Book Club" written by Mary Alice Monroe

When I read this particular passage, dealing with the moment one of the characters, Eve, meets her new boss...... a person very familiar to us all, began to appear.

His character is the much respected and feared professor of English and is, in fact, the department head at the college at which she has just been employed. His name is Dr. Paul Hammond.
