By the way..... There was a whole 'nother angle that was in the original script (and the real life story) that was not included in the final cut.... -- The Chief, 12:28:36 04/04/07 Wed

About 1 sentence(LOL)....a question reallly. I know that Close to Home is 'on the bubble'(Breaking News, 3/12), but why would CBS drop a show that ils winning its time slot? (NT) -- mkim They never did answer...maybe I should 'Ask Matt??', 22:10:29 03/30/07 Fri

Sorry Nancy, it wasn't CBS. Judi told me about the name, and I assumed it was CBS. (NT) -- Cece (wondering if I sound "Veddy Ladeedah.", 03:04:51 03/23/07 Fri

Well, I guess you could do it that way, too, Cece. I actually counted them all by hand, clicking and scrolling, clicking and scrolling.... *sigh* I'd do anything for my HarmyBroads, donchaknow. (NT) -- Miz Chief (Just kidding!), 15:21:09 03/22/07 Thu
What does "Close to Home" need in order to be renewed??? -- The Chief (kind of springing off the posts below), 13:46:16 03/13/07 Tue [28]

Most of what you say is correct, Chief. More humor would be good, but I'd forget the secretary thing, that would be too "off the wall" for the show. Humor like we saw on JAG would be just right. Even during the most serious episodes we would see subtle humor amongst the characters. -- Carolfd, 14:57:06 03/13/07 Tue
OOPS! Forgot to say 'Inside'. (NT) -- Carolfd, 14:59:08 03/13/07 Tue
I agree mkim - I have noticed that they are trying to lighten things up - there hasn't been nearly as much 'furrowing' going on lately! ;o) (NT) -- Gibson, 18:56:30 03/14/07 Wed
Yeah, they could use the office "clown." I don't mean literally, a silly person. But perhaps a witty sidekick. Maureen has always been serious, and AB is still grieving. But Jimmy himself, still has a bit of an edge to him, a bit of irreverence that I'd like to see more of. Everyone shouldn't be serious all the time. Hmmm....let's see...maybe they should do a Home-a-thon, like JAGathon. Anything to get Jimmy in his torn tank and shorts. That would put a smile on my face. But then I'm shallow.
