  • Not to push down the article that Cece was so sweet to show us or the gorgeous pictures, but I think that I found out some info on Love Sick. According to the Lifetime site, they changed the name to "Secrets of a Sex Addict" and they list our guy as the star. Sorry that I can't figure out when it's on, but hopefully this will help us. -- Dani R, 18:22:22 01/31/08 Thu [6]

  • The first episode of The Guard was Waheguru - I remember reading somewhere on The Guard link that Waheguru meant _______??? I've tried to find the article, but can't seem to find it again. Did anyone else read this or know what it means. It's been bugging me. -- ED, 20:19:33 01/31/08 Thu [3]

  • I'm sorry to interrupt such a great discussion (below), but I have found Degree of Guilt showing in 3 parts on Obarta.com from our Other Places to Visit page. I thought you would like to know! -- JoVH, 20:35:33 01/25/08 Fri [7]

  • DJE interview -- SeaBeth - always interested in news about DJE, 11:36:38 01/29/08 Tue [6]
The Feb. 2-8 issue of Vancouver TV Week magazine, which is on newstands now, has an interview with DJE in it. I found a url:

    http://www.tvweekonline.ca/tvweekmagazine

but apparently you need to subscribe to see anything. I hope it is not too much to ask one of our Vancouver Harmy's to get this issue and tell us about the interview.

  • You are right, Michelle UK, when you say there is something new to see every day on Obarta.com on our Other Places To Visit page and we should check it out. Did that earlier today and saw what I think is the whole first episode of The Guard from last week, including David's short scene. -- JoVH, 00:38:19 01/30/08 Wed [2]

  • New name for this board. Something with 'DAE'(David's Alter Egos) (pronounced 'Day') in it maybe? -- CB, 07:15:50 01/26/08 Sat [19]
    For example:

DAE Juice (as it is a mix of all kind of DAE characters, just like there are mixes of juice, or juice made of all kind of stuff)
    Eternity DAE
    DAE's Libido

    or simply,
    The DAE Board

This may be hard to do, but I'm going to ask you anyway.

What is your favorite Non-Harm DJE role?? (I think we're going to need an acronym so we don't have to type that every time... NHDJER, or NHR for short!)

I'm going to have to say Christopher Paget in "Degree of Guilt". DJE makes such an impressive lawyer, and Paget is not only "the best" (in the world of the story), but he's also a flawed character who is trying to do his best to walk the straight and narrow now. If you read the novels (Degree of Guilt and Eyes of a Child, by Richard North Patterson), you discover that Paget and Mary Carelli (mother of their son) got away with telling a few whoppers in a Senate hearing about the time their son Carlo was conceived. In the movie, Paget is trying to keep that part of him, those actions and that "easy way out" way behind him. He struggles. But he does the right thing. There are even moments in the movie when you suspect him of being the bad guy, but then you learn WHY he's been clamming up instead of telling the truth, and you love him even more than before you thought you suspected him.

Anyway, GREAT movie. I think it's out on DVD somewhere if you don't have it. And it's got one of the BEST unintentional come-on lines ever!! Let's say it all together, shall we??

"Christopher Paget, you make this SO hard!!"

Okay - your turn! What is YOUR favorite NHR?
