Subject: Well, well...now we know what would happen if Wolf knew that Cheryl had told Logan not to work on the appeal. Think maybe Cheryl's starting to see that the family business might not be all so bad after all. It was good to hear her say she wanted the appeal to go forward and she and Wolf had a nice phone moment. We're finally getting some good episodes and now we only have two left. What did everyone else think?

[> I know this s kind of campy show...its not meant to be serious at all. Got that, but really, as you said, Wolf is taking this out on the wrong person...Cheryl instigated this delay. AND Logan, being Logan, didnt mind at all, since he shares her belief(however temporary)that Wolf is the problem in their family. Thought the scene was really good between Wolf and Logan, Wolf cutting him off totally was a exclamation point at the end of that scene. BUT the fact remeains, how will Wolf feel when he finds that Cheryl was behind it all? -- mkim Its kinda sad that Cheryl wants prison to do for her what she cant. Resist her husband and his strong influence on her life. (kinda cowardly if you ask me), 13:21:52 08/02/10 Mon [1]

[> [> Yeah, and now she's changed her mind and wants the appeal, but Logan won't go for it. Definitely a cowardly act and on top of it, it isn't really changing all that much. The way the kids are getting money isn't exactly always completely legit, now is it? And Wolf isn't necessarily pulling strings for their schemes to take place now is he? Det. Mack's hanging around the West house way too much don't ya think? I smell trouble brewin' there. -- Christa (Cheryl needs to wise up...), 15:37:25 08/02/10 Mon [1]

[> [> [> Can you inagine though? He seems really intense about her and scoundrel or not, he seems to be a one woman man. All that intensity has to go somewhere. Cheryl may have blown it for good. -- mkim He was such a (smokin' hot)sweetheart on the phone with Cheryl. Still lookin very good!, 19:58:43 08/02/10 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> Agreed, So now the question becomes, where do they go from here? Will Cheryl get her act together or will everything blow up in her face? Tune in for the next two episodes to see where they take this one... -- Christa, 21:23:50 08/02/10 Mon [1]

[> [> At least Logan didn't blame Cheryl for his not pursuing the appeal. Logan could have told Wolf that it was her idea for him to drop the appeal, but he took the heat from his dad by making up that story about his co-worker's father being the judge who'd sent him there. I'm not saying that Wolf would've believed Logan, but Logan could've blamed his mom for it instead of making his dad mad at him. I actually felt sorry for Logan at the end, too. What's going to happen when Wolf finds out that it was actually Cheryl's idea? -- Lee, 16:02:56 08/03/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> Whether he deflected blame from his Mom to himself, or not. Its still pretty low, the way he encouraged his mom to continue the delay, when she was having second thoughts. Arrogance is sleazy too, just in another way. Logan isnt a straight arrow, he'll bend the law when it suits him. That's why I dont get the self righteous attitude from him and even from Cheryl. Its not fair to judge Wolf, when she picks and chooses when to work outside the law. -- mkim This is getting interesting, if they keep the 'camp' dialed down a bit. Maybe they'll get another season., 18:00:33 08/03/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> Oh, I agree that Logan is a sleaze, mkim. I just thought that it was curious that he didn't try to put the blame on Cheryl. Maybe he thought that his dad would kill him, much less believe him, if he did that. And you're right. Cheryl goes straight only when it suits her. -- Lee, 20:37:09 08/03/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> [> Yeah Logan is a sleaze. I do remember seeing in one of the earlier eps. that the law partner that came into Logan's office did have some family connection to his dad's trial/incarceration. Logan seems to be the "mama's boy" and Cal is a "chip off the old block", sort of...I've noticed that all along Cheryl isn't quite as straight as she'd like people to believe. -- Christa, 23:49:54 08/03/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> I think all parents do what Wolf and Cheryl are with their kids...just not to this degree. If Wolf sees himself in Cal then he must not think much of himself. LOL!!! I do see a bit of Cheryl in Logan, but while Cheryl may really think that Wolf is the problem in their family and says so, to Logan(big mistake) she doesnt realize how far Logan is willing to take it. Its a weird dynamic. -- mkim with way too much time to think about this. LOL!!!, 12:22:47 08/04/10 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> You suppose that Logan is trying too hard to be legit, when he's a lot more like his Dad than he'd like to really admit??? Cheryl seems oblivious to alot doesn't she? I thought I saw somewhere where it was stated that Logan is a lot more like his Dad than Cal, but Wolf and Cal share more than Wolf and Logan. Logan's dating his former teacher who he's been having sex with forever. This is one dynamically wierd family. Guess that's why they're "Scoundrels" huh? -- Christa, 14:39:50 08/04/10 Wed [1]

[> I was finally able to see the whole episode on line. The scene with Wolf and Logan was so-o-o-o intense. David is so good as Wolf -- Lee, 22:33:32 08/02/10 Mon [1]

[> Think last nights episode was great, would have liked Cheryl to visit Wolf in Jail, but at least her phone calls were much nicer to him. Hated it when Logan visited his Dad in prison, the look on Wolfs face when he broke the news, was heart breaking, as Logan was about to leave, he called him back, and said we're done. Brought tears to my eyes. Can't wait for next weeks episode. -- Michelle UK, 13:06:37 08/03/10 Tue [1]
