So I just started the new series and am already anticipantly awaiting Blood Fever. Having completed a plathora of Karen's Highlander novels I have come to realize to realize that not another Para-normal romance author comes close to comparing. Anyone ever read Christine Feehan? I do say, I have never seen one story monotonously retold so many times. Sherriyln Kenyon was alright, but Karen Marie Moning yanks you by the arm and pulls you into her adventures. And by God, her character descriptions make Fabio look like a mutant piece of shit.
But I'm really curious about with this new series is Fio. Was her proir relationship serious with JB? Or was she just meat to eat?

I dont think JB is a vampire... Well, he is not pale, at least. But if he were one of the 'immortals' it would fit his relations with older Fiona and his comments about Dublin being 'his' city.. I don't think he's a vampire either but I do think he's a fae. If you remember when he and Fio are arguing about Mac she is all about getting rid of her but at the end of the conversation it's almost as if he has mind control over her and she simply obeys him. I hope he's not Unseelie, but I have a really bad feeling he is because of the torque he wears. Ok let's just say if he was Unseelie say the King wouldn't he have more power than a normal fae and be able to cast enough glamor to conceal his idenity. Mac is still to an extent fighting her abilities and very new to the game so her skills would be very limited at this point. I do think Darroc was Alina's boyfriend but didn't the Queen make him a human in Immortal? I know I am off the subject but I just feel there is something very odd about Barrons. Mac feels strange when he touches her, is extremeley strong,and moves very fast almost as if he sifts in and out, one minute there and the next gone. To me it's all strange. Just my thoughts sorry
