Just as many others I was ignorant to the facts about the Merchant Navy and their involvment during any of the wars. I would like to be able to rectify that in the hope that next year whether it be on Merchant Navy day or Rememberance day the " Forgotten Service" will be remembered. So I am asking for some info re lives lost,etc. I need as much info as possible UK, Canada, Aus, wherever, I need facts and figures. So Billy, Alf, Vernon any of you feel free to email me direct regarding this. I know if I tried hard enough I would find lots of info on this site but find it easier if you can help this way.
