Date Posted: 19/11/07 10:32am Somewhere, there was a short cut on leaving the Gulf into the Indian, Ocean which cut off the corner missing Cape Ras Al Had, BP tankers were not allowed to use it after one of their ships ran aground there, and a local chief tried to claim it. I'm almost sure I once went that way on a Shell tanker, but can't see on a map, or Google, where it exactly was. Any Light for my darkness? Cheers Albi.
