• I have to agree, on all ends. The issue is simply that by putting the boys in the smaller auditorium, they are taken out of the "center ring" so to speak, and that is unfortunate. On the other hand, the distractions and shortcomings of the larger ballroom will be gone (talking, excessive movement, unable to hear the dancers, etc), and the competitors and audience will likely have an overall more enjoyable experience. But the concerns are that the boys are all to often set aside as not as good or not as worthy of the girls, which is a real shame.   • I agree, but it is what it is. I did some more checking - the regular stage in the Perelman theater set up for dance/drama is 83 ft X 40 ft - even if they don't use it all, it is huge, actually as big as the Verizon Hall stage of 45 X 77 ft. From a dancer perspective, they will be in great shape, with a great stage, AND the hall will be small enough that they will be able to hear themselves better. • Steps are now automatic, (hopefully no last minute changes) and stamina sems pretty good, just need to find secret to getting that little something special out of him- occasional glimpses of brilliance but he has no idea how he's done it- only U11.   • For worlds they will do what dance they qualified with at Oireachtas, so mine is still doing HP, but will switch over after worlds to TJ (NT) -- DS is U11 this year., 07:35:14 03/03/09 Tue
