Author: mom of ds and scout
Subject: Any male dancers out there also involved with Boy Scouts?

I have an 8th grade PC ds who is also very involved with his Boy Scout troop, but doesn't let on much with them he's in ID. He's about to get his "Life" (one under Eagle) ranking next month and he went to the BSA national Jamboree this past summer. Are there others out there who do both Scouts and ID? Is it hard to balance between dance and scout activities for you? He has a required campout the weekend before the O!

This would make for a great story in Feis America! Please contact me if you are interested in sharing how ID contributes to the kind of young man it takes to be an Eagle Scout. I'm very impressed!
