Subject: My son is almost out of his first ones - new ones sent off for heels....
In reply to: mom 's message, "Does anyone have a pair of boys softshoes maybe a size 11 or 12 for a young boy. I have an old pair of jazz shoes but wondered about a real pair of ID shoes. I'm looking for something not too expensive since he is young and just getting into it. At this point I could stay with the jazz shoes but he is so excited about having real ones." on 12:20:22 09/15/10 Wed

His new shoes are currently getting heels at Rutherford. My ds got his the heels when he was in Adv beg. and has rapidly learned to click them - so much so that he is now PW less than 6 mo later and off to O. Don't hold him back - they are fun! Outgoing shoes might be a tad big for your use (street shoe size 1 - 2 approx) but email me and we'll see. If you decide to buy new, don't buy stiff soles or even Corrs yet - just get the capezio or bloch jazz shoes and have Rutherford add heels. The ones at the Feis are typically only wide widths and those just wouldn't work for my slim son.
