Subject: Wait! What??? I thought the Harry Potter castle is in Scotland? Help! That's one of the main reasons my dancer wants to go to worlds!

In the books, Hogwarts is (likely) located in Scotland. I think it was filmed at several places, including Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. You can also take the Hogwarts Express route from Fort William to Mallaig - we took this route before it was used in the film and it is spectacular! They filmed the flying car sequence near here. Fort William is about 110 miles from Glasgow.
