I have to agree, on all ends. The issue is simply that by putting the boys in the smaller auditorium, they are taken out of the "center ring" so to speak, and that is unfortunate. On the other hand, the distractions and shortcomings of the larger ballroom will be gone (talking, excessive movement, unable to hear the dancers, etc), and the competitors and audience will likely have an overall more enjoyable experience. But the concerns are that the boys are all to often set aside as not as good or not as worthy of the girls, which is a real shame. The level of competition among the boys (even though lesser in #s) is phenomenal, and shouldn't be missed by any in attendance. -- Real Men Irish Dance
