Subject: Yes, this is the trip. A good tailor will add a rubber type strip inside the waistband. If your trousers don't come with this perhaps you can have it added by a tailor. It has been a lifesaver. Also, if he wears a waistcoat make sure it is long enough in the back. I see many boys with the back lining too short for their trousers.
