She listened as he spoke, the annoyance still on her face, but with none of the other emotions the other women wuld likely display. There was no hurt, no anger, no joy mixed with betrayal. She'd known why he'd done it, understood what had driven him to take the fall so the others could escape. She didn't blame him for what he'd done, but instead she respected it. It had still been a stupid move, on all their parts, but she could see where it had come from... The heart.
Tori slid into the stool next to him with a nod after he finished speaking, crossing her legs and putting her back to the bartop. She glanced over at him, and her face had gone passive, neutral now. She was only annoyed because they had thought that running away without saying goodbye was a good idea. Leave it to men to think that was a wise idea. "You should know better than to think you can keep me from doing anything. I do what I want, always have" She turned her gaze back to the dark club, letting her mind wander a bit as she spoke "I checked in on you, and the others... Made sure you didn't get yourselves killed.... Sphinx almost did, damn fool" She bounced the toe of her red Prada heels and picked at the hem of her black mini dress as she thought "Everyone waited till it was obvious no one was coming back, then they started trickling away, one by one... "
