Funny enough, Steve: when I rewatched that scene to figure out who else he could be, Hugh Saxon also occurred to me as a possibility, but I wasn't 100% sure and I still wouldn't say I'm 100% familiar with him so then I was even less sure about suggesting such.

But worth noting that some time ago, Steve Massa also ID'd Saxon in The Spat Family's RADIO MAD. Right now, for kicks, I decided to see how close RADIO MAD and GOING TO CONGRESS were in terms of shooting dates -- and wouldn't ya know it, as it turns out, RADIO MAD (filmed Jan. 10-19) was filmed literally RIGHT before GOING TO CONGRESS (filmed Jan. 19-30), so Saxon could reasonably have remained at the Roach studio for the next film. (Heck, maybe his scenes in both films were both shot on the 19th!)

Ever since the RADIO MAD ID, Saxon's been one of many players and ANM-relevant things in the back of my mind, as I think I've seen him in several other Roach films (off the top of my head: NEVER WEAKEN, CATCH-AS-CATCH-CAN, the aforementioned BIG BUSINESS) and ANM-relevant films (the '34 HOLLYWOOD PARTY).

(Also, note for Dave: Worth noting Saxon's also in TILLIE'S PUNCTURED ROMANCE, which is ANM-relevant due to Charley's appearance.)
