I went searching for this on FamilySearch earlier, and they only have half of the death certificate. Seems that FS only has "half-DCs" for those who died during the mid-late 1950s within L.A. County but outside of L.A. city limits (such also slightly hindered my research of Dolores Johnson, who died in Santa Monica). The basic info is there, but it snips off just before the cause of death. (Ugh.)

Anyways, at the time of Mickey's death, he was a welder in manufacturing. His parents are listed as Lon McGuire and Nell Suggs (both of Oklahoma), and he died at Seaside Memorial Hospital in Long Beach, CA at 7:00pm on 24 March 1956.
