Your description sounds similar to what I've begun to consider for myswing. My NG swing was initially very good, but as I tried to improve it my swing got MUCH to long and out of control, which was the very CG problem for which I switched to NG.

Have you video'd your swing? When I swing with a mental image very much as you are describing (not exactly the same, but the "intact triangle" part is very similar) it "feels" like a very short, artificially constricted swing. However when I video it, it's a pretty darn good looking NG swing when compared to Todd's and Moe's.

I think that the whole notion of verbally describing swings is problematic. It's just too subtle, subjective and individual to describe verbally. Then when it comes to swing thoughts,, swing initiators, etc. that's REALLY an individual thing. How else can Moe's swing thoughts be considered COMPLETLEY WRONG by some people that comment on this board. Swing thoughts have one, and only one criteria --- they must work for the person using them...
