One thing I noticed when I get spanked by my mother is that when I cry I lose my ego and pride. How do I explain this. Even if I am respectful towards my mother I do have some prideful thoughts when the spanking begins. These thoughts include, I don't deserve this, what I did wasn't that bad. I also think that I can't believe I am still getting spanked at my age (19), this is so wrong. I also tell myself not to cry...that if I don't cry it will show I have a toughness and my mom will realize her spanking don't work anymore. Yet this can only work for so long. Eventually I break down and cry. When I'm crying all those prideful thoughts melt away. It's like she won and I lost the battle and with the crying I am accepting that. Does this make sense to anyone? Also I noticed I have a deep sense of respect towards my mother when I am in tears. It might be counterintuitive but I feel a sense of safeness after a spanking. That someone is really watching over me. I sometimes think I need to move out to avoid the spankings (but I don't think I could afford to be on my own). If I do leave home I wonder if I would miss this safeness feeling I am trying to describe?

My experience is a bit differeent. My pride is that I don't cry during spankings (whtther with a belt or with an old electric cord) and I completely obey my Mistress -- I make no attempt to cover my butt with my hands or move it aside or yell anything like "Stop! It hurts!" I don't get up from my knees-and-elbows position, either. When my first Mistress started teaching me with the belt about ten years go, the pain threshold for my butt was much lower and I ofeten turned it aside subconsciously. She usually stopped the belting and ordered me to turn it back. It was such a big shame for me! And I was so proud -- even happy! -- when I learnt to avoid turning it aside.

As for your feeling of safeness... When my Mistress tells me that the spanking is over and she allowes me to get up, I rise to my knees, thanks her and kiss het hands and knees. Do I feel safeness? Surely! Safeness and gratitude. She does her best to teach me obedience and I'm grateful for it.

As for you question whether you should move out, I don't suppose so. You are now in the best (for you) place in the world and your mother keeps teaching you. It won't last forever, so don't miss the opportunity to remain with your strict and loving mother as long as you can. And don't forget to thank her for every spanking. Or you do it already?

Funny that you bring that up because I was just thinking of potential romantic partners. I don't date right now. For one thing my mom makes me study and I'm not allowed to go out at night (unless I'm with her). But I was thinking about the future when I do eventually work and live on my own.

The way I was raised seems pretty extreme compared to anyone I know. My mom is super strict and I guess you could say domineering. I don't on the surface find any of it sexual or a turn on. Yet I think this upbringing really had an influence on the women I'm attracted to. I'm attracted to girl boss types. I don't know if I will feel the need to get spanked, a side of me says hell no but I also have a gut feeling that I will. Should be interesting to see how this works out.

If the college students are still living at home, and are dependent on the parents, then spanking seems reasonable. I just cannot think why a college kid would be spanked. They are too old for a curfew or a bedtime. Maybe a driving violation such as speeding or running a red light.

Do you know why they get spanked? Is it only Dads who spank boys bare bottom, and moms who spank girls?

As a college student who still lives at home and still gets spanked I can answer your question. I feel you are thinking too much about the student and not enough about the spanking parent. I have always been pretty well behaved. I don't do anything that bad to deserve a spanking, especially at my age. My mother has always been very strict with me and hard to please. She can get angry over small things and let it blow up from there. This is so much who she is that I don't think it was possible for her to turn this off like a light switch when I turned 18. Not to make excuses for her but she is who she is and part of that is being a spanker.

I’m not sure how I would have felt about taking my panties down myself, it was never an option. It’s hard to imagine baring myself like that when the LAST thing I wanted was to be exposed front and back for a spanking.
So you couldn’t beg “stop stop” like I did? What would they do? I guess you tried to take your spankings like a “big girl” but could you ever keep from crying?

Louise, I suppose baring styles are two sides of the same coin. Pushing your own panties down shows you accept a bare bottom spanking as your punishment while mom bared me showed that I accepted her authority to lower my panties for a spanking.
I know what you mean about being spanked well passed real crying OUCH!
I’m curious about how you and Emma came to discuss baring procedures. Was Emma also spanked?

Here is a memory of mine from one of her spankings that I witnessed.

I'm not sure if this is common spanker behavior but I notice when I first start crying...those first gentle tears, my mother does the opposite of stopping. This is when she steps it up and starts spanking harder. She will even switch from hand to brush when my crying first starts. My impression is she isn't even consciously thinking about all this. Hi, I am Nadine and I am 15 years old. My mom always likes to tell me in advance when I am going to be spanked. So sorry Nadine! How awful for you. In my teen years mother also liked to sentence me to be spanked later. “Agitated” is a good word for the tummy-twisting, clammy palms and shaking knees when I had to wait several hours or a day for my bare bottom spanking.

Hi, Mr. D. I used to get spanked with mom's hand and then with the back of a wooden hairbrush, and the smooth wood of the brush on the oval spanking side always got me really bawling hard in a hurry. Well, that woman is not wrong…that parallels my experience with the Lexan paddle precisely.

Several years ago, I mentored a young lady through her college career. Especially during her freshman year, she became well acquainted with my Lexan paddle…or, as she refers to it, “that horrible, evil, awful THING!” The sting of the Lexan is simply breathtaking, and, because it has so much more flex that a wooden implement, there’s much less marking/bruising. That’s smaller than mine…more designed for over-the-knee use. Mine is from

Nadine -- I'm finally beginning to get what happens to me after a spanking -- and you described it totally!

Sorry for the short answer…I was a bit pressed for time, and didn’t want your post to go without being acknowledged.

Jeff, I just found your note. For some reason it does not show up in the list of responses, but if you open my original post there it is below that. Weird!
