Subject: I'm impressed that they're beginning to get tough, at least in theory, with the most flagrant exploiters at the I-A level, and stunned as to the prospect of eliminating the A/AA distinction. What practical effect would this have from a scheduling perspective for us?

I guess if the recommendation passes, the I-A and I-AA subclassifications would be eliminated, erasing the I-AA “stigma”. PL, A-10, Big East, Big Ten, etc. would all be “Division I”, as in basketball. Not sure what effect this would have from a scheduling perspective though. (NT)ramMan09:33:35 01/15/05 Sat
