Subject: As long as Fordham plays in the regional, smallish non-scholarship Patriot League in football, we will be mired in obscure mediocrity. Fordham, Holy Cross and Georgetown should drop this hopeless charade and join the A-10/CAA with full schollies. That will solve many problems for those three programs.

In reply to: An Old Coach 's message, "Two teams from a small non-scholarship conference is outstanding. Are you kidding? Colgate played in the 1AA final last year. I'd say the PL is more than representative at this point. We just have to get the bottom feeders, HC and georgetown to commit or get out." on 10:08:40 12/20/04 Mon

But would HC and GT be prepared to spend what it takes to compete in all the other sports besides football? Would they make the admissions concessions that might be necessary? Lots of unanswered questions that would have major consequences. (NT)DamnRam16:22:26 12/20/04 Mon
