Elevating the football program was made possible by the Visiting Committee for Athletics(and Bill Walsh), a group of very substantial donors($25,000 or more each per year) that worked with(and on) the Board and Fr. O'Hare to make the move to 1-AA possible. We are in the process of gathering a similar funding scenario for basketball. We could have stayed in Div. 3, but the Visiting Committee made it possible to move to 1-AA. Not two people. What's important now is that we're in the wrong conference.
