You missed the point entirely. The public access to the VSPA web site is often used for research. It should be as accurate as possible. If a Researcher tries to find a unit called 377th Combat Security Police Sq, he/she will find nothing because no such unit exists or existed in the past.

It doesn't matter how you feel. What matters is accuracy. You may consider yourself to be a Combat Security Policeman but unless you completed the Combat Security Police Course at Schofield Barracks or Ft Campbell and were awarded AFSC 99135, the Air Force doesn't recognize you as a Combat Security Policeman. I loaded an airplane once but the AF doesn't recognize me as a Loadmaster.
