Subject: BOD Resignation and Appointment

Due to medical conditions effecting Bill Marshall and his Bride, he felt it necessary to resign his position as Secretary of the VSPA. I talked with Bill and he does not feel he can give 100% of his time and effort to the organization and feels he needs to manage his issues. I told him how much his leadership for many years to our Association is appreciated and wished him the very best going forward. I, personally, am very sad to see him have to leave the Board after filling several positions for many years.

After reading the bylaws, I am happy to announce that Charlie Blood has volunteered to join our BOD and fill the remaining tenure on the BOD as Secretary. Charlie was a K-9 handler in Udorn AB, Thailand in 70-71. He handled K-9 Chris, #77M3 and is Life Member #372. I am delighted to have him on the BOD and very much look forward to working with him to make the VSPA even better. Please join me in welcoming him to the BOD at cblood@suddenlink.com.
